Mary Arsanious is passionate about making a meaningful impact, whether in global healthcare, health technology, or the pharmaceutical industry. As a Medical Lead at Takeda, Mary is currently working on pipeline assets, and collaborating with investigators and key opinion leaders to bring innovative treatments to the Canadian market. Inspired to address challenges with innovative solutions, Mary co-founded an innovation team within Takeda in Canada to explore AI-driven solutions, earning her and the team the company’s prestigious President’s Award. Mary also serves as a member of Takeda’s Next Generation Advisory Board, which includes members representing 11 different countries and acts as a trusted sounding board for Takeda’s CEO.

In her role at the Pan American Health Organization, Mary contributed to the creation of the Caribbean Regulatory System, ensuring access to safe and quality medicines for the region. Mary holds an MBA from Carleton University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto.
