Biomedical engineer and entrepreneur Frank Yu has already founded two successful biotech firms and he’s just getting started. In 2020, Frank developed an ex-situ heart perfusion platform with advanced myocardial assessment and preservation capabilities, which was later acquired by Traferox Technologies Inc. With Myo Palate, Frank is leading the development and commercialization of lab-grown meat products. He has built a dynamic team of 11 employees and attracted over $11 million in funding.

Frank is also the president and founder of Health Occupation Students of America, Canadian charter division, which has raised over $400,000 for scholarships and internships and holds annual science conferences.
